Daisy brought snow to Bergstrasse

The Curly Horses had much fun with that snow and the cold weather. As their countries of origin are Canada and the United States, they are quite used to cold temperatures till -40°C. It was a pleasure watching them while they run across the great meadows energetically. Due to their speed, it was not easy taking pictures of that herd with 16 horses.

A Curly Horse becomes an Endurance Horse in Scotland

The decision came to GW Levi Amor

A nice couple from Scotland visited us last year during a weekend. Their accent told us that they originally came from Canada. They were impressed by our Curlys and the work we spend for their education here on the Ranch Wolf. It turned out that they would like to buy a horse that they are able to educate to become an endurance horse. The fundament for such training is a good basic education, a correct exterieur, a will to run as well as being at best health.

Our stallion GW Levi Amor, who was awarded as foal already, has all pre-conditions for such an education. This fact was also supported by the extensive vet check. The buyer has the opportunity to have an additional X-ray diagnosis done on top of the basic clinical check. During this clinical check, the horse is examined and juged physically. After that, the horse is checked in endurance and a bending test.

After Amor passed the complete vet check with flying colours the planning for the transport started. The planning turned out to be complicated as there is no adequate airplane going to Scotland. The solution to this problem was a transport over-land.

We wish our little Amor and of course his new owners all the best, a good reliable relationship and long trials to enjoy together.

Vet check

Amor kept calm during the vet check. The vets were quite impressed how relaxed our 1 ½ years old stallion Amor was during the long examination as X-ray, teeth control, endurance tests etc. The results of the vet check showed that Amor is fully healthy which was of course a pleasure to the new owners in Scotland.

The day of the transport came closer and closer

In the end the day arrived and we waited for the transporter with mixed feelings. But when the huge truck finally arrived we were quite impressed. The equipment was obviously very professional and the kind and sympathic drivers gave us a good feeling.
